Davis, Morgan, and Weber HEAT Programs

The HEAT Program provides year round energy assistance and energy related crisis assistance for eligible low income households throughout Utah. The program runs each year from October 1 through September 30.

Description:

The HEAT Program provides year round energy assistance and energy related crisis assistance for eligible low income households throughout Utah. The program runs each year from October 1 through September 30. It is not required to be shut off nor have shut off notice to apply for benefits. Clients with medical equipment can call for same or next day help. Accommodations can be made for home bound clients.

Eligibility:
Total household income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level. Individual is responsible for paying home energy costs; household must contains at least one US citizen or qualified non citizen. During the month of October priority is given to three target groups: households with children under six, persons with a disability and people over the age of 60. After October everyone is welcome to apply.

M - F 8 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Applications may be obtained in several ways. A paper application may be mailed, an application may be printed from the website, or an application may be completed on the website.
