Catholic Community Services - Basic Needs Ogden

A nonprofit organization that provides immigrant visa application filing assistance, comprehensive immigration/naturalization services, a brick and mortar food pantry through the Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank, and a mobile food pantry through the Bridging the Gap Program. Diapers and formula/baby food are provided by the St. Martha's Baby Project. A food donation program is open to anyone who would like to contribute.

Immigrant Visa Application Filing Assistance
Description:

Assists with completing and filing immigrant Visa applications.

Food Donation Programs
Description:

Accepts food donations including peanut butter, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned meat, soup, and beans, dry milk, cereal, pasta, rice, canned spaghetti sauce, and other nonperishable food items. Accepts hygiene items including body wash, shampoo, conditioner, razors, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, and feminine hygiene products. Donations must be closed and not expired.

Diapers
Description:

Assists and empowers new mothers by providing essential baby supplies including diapers. Have sizes from newborns to pull-ups, as well as adult diapers. Calendar available online for specific hours each month, Thursday evening pantry and Saturday pantry schedule varies each month.

The client's income must be below 185% of the federal poverty level. Visits are limited to once per month.

Food Pantries
Description:

The Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank and Pantry distributes food resources to needy people in a grocery store-style facility. The pantry also distributes personal hygiene items. Calendar available online for specific hours each month, Thursday evening pantry and Saturday pantry schedule varies each month.

Eligibility:
The client's income must be below 185% of the federal poverty level. Friday distribution is reserved for people over 60 or who have a disability. Visits are limited to once per month.

Tu - Th 9 am - 12 noon; F 9 am - 12 noon (Seniors Only); two varying Th each month 4 - 6 pm; two varying Sa each month 10 am - 12 noon

Description:

Comprehensive Immigration/Naturalization Services
Description:

Offers critical immigration legal services to refugees and migrants during all stages of the immigration process. Services provided include immigration legal process education, filing immigration applications, representing clients in immigration court, helping clients reunite with family members, helping paroled migrants apply for asylum, and representing migrant youth and families in removal proceedings.
