Volunteers of America Youth Resource Center For Homeless and At-Risk Teens

A transitional housing/shelter facility and drop-in center that provides services for youth. Services offered include public showers/baths, laundry facilities, job finding assistance, personal/grooming supplies, a soup kitchen, counseling, disaster related shelter services for wintertime code blue alerts, long and short-term transitional housing/shelter, a general clothing provision, drug use disorder support groups, public access computers/tools, and access to baggage check facilities.

Public Showers/Baths
Description:

Provides showers for at-risk youth during drop-in hours.

Eligibility:
Youth age 15 to 22 currently experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness.

Su - Sa 8:30 am - 7:30 pm

Transitional Housing/Shelter
Description:

Provides transitional housing programs in a supervised group home for youth and young adults working toward self-reliance. Clients may stay 18 months - 2 years.

Eligibility:
Youth age 15 to 22 currently experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness.

Intake: Su - Sa 8:30 am - 6 pm
Intake Procedure:
Walk in during intake hours or call for more information. New clients are asked to arrive by 6 pm.

Description:

Description:

Description:

Description:

Provides prepared meals three times daily to youth experiencing homelessness or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

Description:

Youth may access the storage service at "A Place for Your Stuff". Center staff will transport youth to the storage facility twice per week.
