Services to assist in self sufficiency include credit counseling, home rehabilitation loans, HUD approved counseling, low income loans, mortgage delinquency and default counseling, reverse mortgage programs, and sweat equity programs.,

Credit Counseling
Description:

Credit counseling to help participants achieve goal of home ownership.

Eligibility:

Description:

Reverse Mortgage counseling and education. Counseling can be done via phone and visual web program which the counselor will set up with client.

Home Rehabilitation Loans
Description:

Provides funding to make essential repairs to the home in order to eliminate health or safety hazards or improve security. Program covers major repairs, system upgrades, and replacements (roofing, plumbing, heating or electrical systems. Also broken/inefficient windows) but not minor repairs.

Eligibility:
Live in northern Utah, own the land and dwelling unit, occupy the unit as the primary residence, earn less than 80% of the county AMI as published by HUD, and ensure all taxes and insurance are current.

Low Income Home Loans
Description:

Welcome Home Program. A first time home buyer program funded by Logan City that provides up to $7,500 in down payment and/or closing cost assistance to qualified buyers.

Eligibility:
Welcome Home Program is available for those living in Logan only. HomeChoice is available to everyone statewide.

Description:
