Provides low-cost child passenger safety seats to parents who complete a two-hour lecture, discussion, and hands-on practice installing a child passenger safety seat.
Provides tuberculosis testing (TB) to the community. The client must return to the clinic 48 - 72 hours after testing to receive verification of the test results.
Provides prenatal care through the Baby Your Baby program. Care covered includes outpatient pregnancy-related services such as doctor's appointments and prescriptions. The program does not cover labor and delivery.

Death certificates are used to obtain insurance payments, collection of stocks and bonds, veteran benefits, closure of bank accounts, retirement collection, executing a will, and genealogy work.

Birth certificates are used for school registration, sports participation, obtaining a driver's license, passport applications, retirement plans, social security applications, and employment applications.

Regulates food service establishments including restaurants, delis, food carts, cafeterias, caterers, concession stands, and various other businesses and organizations that engage in food preparation and service. The bureau also regulates temporary food events (booths) and temporary mass gatherings. Extensive food safety education is provided to food business owners, community organizations, and the general public regularly.
Reduces and eliminates the environmental factors that lead to disease that negatively affect quality of life, and degrade the physical environment.
Administers several educational and regulatory programs to improve air quality including Vehicle Emissions program and wood burning regulation.
Provides low-income women, infants, and children under 5 with nutrition education, vouchers for nutritious foods, breastfeeding support, a review of immunization records, and referrals to other helpful agencies.

The Healthy Homes Program provides financial assistance to help remediate 29 home hazards identified by HUD, including lead-based paint, mold, moisture, injury and safety hazards, poor indoor air quality, radon, and carbon monoxide in homes. Additional benefits to financial assistance include radon testing, lead testing, improved air quality, fewer missed days at work and school, and reduced healthcare visits.
