The center provides a Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) approach to substance use disorder treatment. Methadone, Suboxone, Buprenorphine, and Vivitrol are the drugs used to lessen the extreme physical and mental discomfort associated with opioid withdrawal. Clients come to the center to receive a daily dose of medication.
The treatment center provides individual and group substance use disorder counseling in conjunction with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). Benefits of individual counseling include improved self-esteem, increased self-awareness, and reduced stress. Group counseling allows clients to learn from the experiences of others and develop a strong support network. This holistic approach greatly increases the client's chances of long-term recovery.
