Medically Vulnerable People (MVP) Shelter & Program

The MVP program shelter and medical services to seniors, veterans, and the medically frail who are experiencing homelessness.

Description:

Provides temporary shelter with on-site supportive services for adults who are experiencing homelessness. Services may include a safe, warm place to sleep, housing navigation, employment services, life skills development, meals, medical care (through The Fourth Street Clinic or mobile health clinics), assistance with paying for government-issued identification, personal storage, counseling, and connections to long-term community support. The program serves up to 168 clients (2 clients per room).

Eligibility:
Seniors, veterans, and the medically frail. MVP is not a skilled nursing facility.
Clients must be able to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, eating, and using the bathroom and manage their own medications.

24/7
Intake Procedure:
Not a walk-in facility. Must have a referral from a community member, or by calling Homeless Intake Line.
