Angel's Hands Foundation

A nonprofit organization that supports and improves the quality of life for children with rare diseases or undiagnosed genetic defects and their families. Programs are only available to people who meet criteria. Services provided include health/disability-related social clubs and medical care expense assistance.

Description:

Provides social outings to children and families who may not go out in public due to their conditions. Outings include professional hockey, basketball, soccer, and baseball games. Other activities include Christmas parties, fishing parties, kite-flying picnics, snow skiing, the zoo, movies, the circus, and monster truck shows.

Eligibility:
Must be a Utah resident. The program is only for children with rare and undiagnosed medical conditions and their family members.
Service Hours:
M - F 9 am - 5 pm

It also helps pay for non-medically necessary equipment shown to improve the lives of people with rare diseases and genetic defects. Examples of covered items include Hearing aids, wheelchairs, specialty strollers, special beds, braces, therapy spas, specialty bicycles, air conditioning and air filtration systems, and special bathtubs,
