Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake - Sugar House Club

Provides after school and out of school care, day camps, guidance, and recreation with emphasis on youth enrichment and development for youth age Pre K to 12th grade. Trained staff provide the young members with guidance in adopting healthy lifestyles, pursuing educational objectives, resolving conflicts peacefully, and improving overall relationships. Goal is to inspire and empower youth, families, and communities to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Clubs offer evidence based, quality programs. Related court community services opportunities available.

Youth Enrichment Programs
Description:

Provides guidance and recreation with emphasis on youth development for all youth ages 6 to 18 years.

Eligibility:
Youth ages 6 to 18.
Service Hours:
M - F 2:30 - 6:30 pm
Intake Procedure:
Walk in to register in person.
Fees:
$25 per family per year.

Description:

Provides after school and out of school care. Provides guidance and recreation with emphasis on youth development for youth ages Pre K to 12th grade.
Provides after school transportation from Nibley Elementary, Uintah Elementary, Dillworth Elementary, Emerson Elementary, Whitter Elementary, Highland Park Elementary, Clayton Middle, and Highland High School.

Youth ages 3 to 18.

M - F 7 am - 6:30 pm

Court Ordered Community Service Sites
Description:

Cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, special events to fulfill court appointed service hours.

Eligibility:
Accepting only youth offenders age 6 to 18. No violent, sexual, or severe drug offenses.

Call. Youth volunteers under age 18 do not complete the adult volunteer process, they become registered Club members and work through the teen program.

Extended Child Care
Description:

Extended licensed child care or after school programs are affordable and available in Salt Lake County.

Eligibility:
Youth ages 3-18 grade.
Service Hours:
M - F 7 am - 6:30 pm
Intake Procedure:

Fees:
$135-155 per week depending on age. Discounts available for those eligible for childcare assistance.

Day Camps
Description:

Summer Camp runs from June to August. Provides guidance with emphasis on youth development for all youth grades PreK through 12th grade. Camps are offered during the summer months only. Gym activities, tech center activities, field trips, guidance by youth development professionals, and meals.

Youth ages 3-18 grade.

M - F 7 am - 6 pm

Fees:
Pre-K, Kinder, Juniors: $155 per week, discounts available for those eligible for child care assistance; Teens: $60 per week

General Recreational Activities/Sports
Description:

Provides guidance and recreation with emphasis on youth development for all youth from preschool to 8th grade, depending on the sport, such as 3 on 3 Basketball, Indoor/Outdoor Soccer, Flag Football, Jr. Jazz/Biddy Jr. Jazz.

Eligibility:
Youth from preschool and 8th grade, depending on the sport. Open to community, do not have to be Boys & Girls Club Members.
