ACCESS and IMPACT are programs matching a male/female pair of volunteers to a child ages 5-11 years old (ACCESS) and 13-17 (IMPACT). Activities may include helping with homework, playing games, or watching movies. Volunteers are required to spend 1 - 2 hours a week with their teens.
A pro-bono physical therapy clinic where specialists serve patients with the assistance of students from Rocky Mountain University, Brigham Young University, and Utah Valley University. The CRC serves individuals below the poverty line and provides them with an opportunity for treatment that otherwise might not be possible.
Tutoring Program focused on working with Hispanic/Latino students who are learning English as a second language. Provides a home tutoring program, where pairs of tutors work with students and families in their homes, as well as a school tutoring program, where students work 1 on 1 with elementary schools students at Provo Peaks Elementary School.
Matches BYU students with adults with cognitive disabilities. Provides one-on-one outings and mentoring. Also provides the opportunity to learn music and basic choreography in preparation for a concert at the end of the semester.
Sports instruction and playing for elementary age children with cognitive disabilities. Taught by BYU athlete volunteers.
Pairs BYU students with youth K - 12 grades from the community who need academic tutoring. Tutoring is held on BYU campus or over Zoom.
