Cache County Senior Center

Center where active, mature adults can explore many interests and socialization opportunities. Meals are served daily, home delivered meals are available to homebound, disabled, frail, or at risk, and those who qualify through an assessment. Transportation to and from the center and other necessities are available through the senior ride program. Medicare information and counseling are also available by appointment.

Senior Centers
Description:

Provides services for older adults including a nutrition program, transportation services, education programs, socialization, and recreation.

Eligibility:
Primarily provided to Cache County residents 60 years of age or older.

Congregate Meals/Nutrition Sites
Description:

Serves nutritious lunch, on weekdays, to adults and their guests.

Eligibility:
Primarily provided to Cache County residents 60 or older.
Service Hours:
M - F 12 noon - 1 pm
Intake Procedure:
Sign up one day in advance by 3 pm. Call for information.
Fees:
Suggested donation $3.75 for seniors; $10.50 for individuals under 60; receipt required from the front desk.

Senior Ride Programs
Description:

Provides safe, efficient, accessible, and courteous transportation to and from the center, doctor appointments, and shopping to those 60 years and older.

Primarily provided to Cache County residents 60 years of age or older.
Service Hours:
M - F 8:30 am - 4 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call to fill out the application and schedule a ride.

Home Delivered Meals
Description:

A Federal and State cooperative program designed to provide hot lunches. Assist those 60 years and older, who are homebound, have a disability, frail, or at risk condition, and who qualify through an assessment.

M - F 8:30 am - 4 pm; Meal Delivery: 11 am - 1 pm

Medicare Information/Counseling
Description:

Provides information and counseling to sign up for Medicare, compare plans, or make sure older adults have the right health and prescription drug coverage.

Eligibility:
Cache County residents 60 years of age or older.
