Davis County Children's Justice Center

Offers a comfortable setting to help children who are victims of alleged physical and sexual abuse feel safe during the investigation process. Provides crime victim support, and child abuse medical examinations.

Description:

Provides on-site examination rooms and medical professionals to collect evidence and safeguard children’s health.

Eligibility:
Serve minors 17 years of age or younger who are victims of alleged sexual abuse, physical abuse, or other crimes where a child is the primary victim or critical witness, such as domestic violence, drug endangerment, and internet exploitation.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
A referral is required from Child Protective Services or a law enforcement agency.

Provides a child-focused setting with a multidisciplinary team to increase access to support services and increase coordination among agencies involved in the case. Support services include mental health therapy, medical care, financial assistance, etc.

24/7
Intake Procedure:
Call the State of Utah Child Protection hotline 24 hours per day. Also, may call the police department in the city where the alleged crime occurred.
