Provides employment and support services to help customers improve their economic opportunities, including services for veterans. Employment services include job search assistance, work clothing, works tools/equipment, job assistance center, WIOA program, food pantry, and work related fee payment assistance.

Description:

Local offices provide individualized job search assistance including job-seeking skills workshops (virtually, online, and in-person), career coaching, and resources to support employment and connection to educational opportunities. Supportive services for employment may be available, to those who qualify, including, but not limited to transportation, work clothing, licensing, tools, or verification needed for identity.

Members of the United States (U.S.) Military, Veterans and their spouses receive priority of service with employment and training assistance, services, and resources. The ACE program provides an avenue for eligible Utah Veterans, actively drilling members of the Guard and Reserve, and their respective spouses, to gain employment in the civilian job market by capitalizing on their past experience, training, and knowledge, or by assisting them with short-term training that leads to a certificate or a license.

Log-in to create a My Job Search account on website; click 'Apply for Training Services' on the profile page. Applicant will be contacted by an employment counselor within two business days. Walk ins are welcome if additional assistance is needed to apply for training services.

Monthly mobile pantry provided by Open Doors Food Bank provides food for those in need.

Eligibility:
Must have transportation to take food boxes home.
Service Hours:
March - October: 1st Th of every month 2:30 - 3:30 pm; Sign in begins at 2 pm
Intake Procedure:
Walk in to office and sign in. Volunteers will load trunk with the food. One issuance per household and household member must be present and sign in to receive.
