Family Support Center of Southwestern Utah - Richfield

Supports parents and guardians as they strive to provide a healthy and safe environment for their children. Services include: Adult/child mentoring programs, respite care for children, crisis nursery, parental visitation facilitation, and parenting skills classes.

Crisis Nurseries/Child Care
Description:

Provides a crisis nursery for children from families experiencing a crisis or emergency.

Eligibility:
Children ages 0-11 years old. Crisis care situations are judged on a case-by-case basis. A crisis situation is usually: a mental health crisis, a family emergency (medical emergency, death in the family), domestic violence, abuse, or any other situation where a child is in danger of experiencing trauma.
Service Hours:
Respite hours: M - F 9 am - 8 pm; Sa 9 am - 3 pm; Crisis Care: 24/7, up to 72 hours at a time

Parental Visitation Facilitation
Description:

Provides a location for parental visitation exchanges for children.

Eligibility:
For divorced couples in need of a visitation exchange location.

Parenting Skills Classes
Description:

Provides a 6 - 11 week parenting class. Childcare will be only available if there is room.
