Family Support Center of the Uintah Basin

Provides child abuse prevention, and offers parents a timeout when they are feeling stressed through their crisis nursery. Through the evidence-based Active Parenting program they also provide parenting skill classes year round.

Description:

Offers programs set to empower vulnerable families by focusing on a combination of community, education, and individual support. Services may include training, parent education, affordable housing, youth education and mentoring, adult mentoring, case management, therapy, employment training, and financial literacy.

A safe place for children whose family may be experiencing stress from any number of things. Offers respite care for up to 72 hours in a friendly, clean, home-like environment.

Eligibility:
Children ages 0 to 11 years old but will receive children up to age 18 if parents have an emergency, doctor's appointment, or counseling sessions.
