Food And Care Coalition

Provides services for individuals who are homeless, including prepared hot meals, bathing facilities, haircuts, laundry facilities, dental, case management, emergency shelter, and transitional housing. Also have Wasatch Mental Health and Mountainlands Community Health Center as onsite partners providing mental health and medical services. Partners with a group called My Story Matters to provide education curriculum to the cilents.

Transitional Housing/Shelter
Description:

Provides transition housing units on-site. It is set up to transition residents into permanent, affordable housing. Duration of stay will vary according to individual transition plans and willingness to adhere to program rules and participation level.

Eligibility:
Homeless single or couple adults. Generally, clients are required to have a history of service with the agency or have been served within the Continuum of Care Jurisdiction or Utah County.

Temporary Mailing Address
Description:

Allows clients to use the Food and Care Coalition address as a temporary mailing address for correspondence between family and employers. Clients can also utilize the computer lab to communicate via email with family and friends throughout the country.

General Dentistry
Description:

Provides general dental care for those experiencing homelessness and low-income individuals and families who qualify.

Thanksgiving Meals
Description:

Provides meals on and around Thanksgiving.

Eligibility:
Serves individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Thanksgiving Day 12 noon - 1:30 pm

Call or visit the Food and Care Coaltion to reserve a spot starting October 31st.

Public Showers/Baths
Description:

Provides on-site showers. Hygiene products and towels are available.

Eligibility:
Serves individuals experiencing homelessness. Do not need to be a current client to use shower facilities.

Christmas Meals
Description:

Provides Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas lunch.

Soup Kitchens
Description:

Provides hot meals and sack lunches to those in need. M - Sa sack lunches are for persons who have verifiable employment and cannot stay onsite. Su lunches are given as the to-go meal for Su dinner which is not provided onsite.

Personal/Grooming Supplies
Description:

Provides personal hygiene supplies. Clients can generally only get hygiene supplies once a month.

No restrictions for the first visit. Any returning visit will require proof of income and family size.

Clothing Vouchers
Description:

Provides clothing vouchers to Deseret Industries. Vouchers are available on a limited basis. Other available items include blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, gloves, hats, and socks.
