The Home Energy Assistance Target (HEAT) program is a federally funded energy assistance program that assists eligible individuals and families with meeting the high energy costs (electric and natural gas) during the winter and summer months. The program is open year round.

Eligibility:
Low-income residents are eligible for assistance one time per program year. Total household income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level; household is responsible for paying home energy costs; household contains at least one US citizen or legal permanent resident.
