Provides residential job training formats including career training and education for low-income youth 16 to 24.

Description:

Provides vocational training focusing on 10 industries and countless careers. Depending on the type of career training, completion may take 8 months to 3 years. Available training programs include automobile repair, electrician-related careers, welding, building construction, computer technician and network administrator, pharmacy technician, plumbing, office administration, material handling, and distribution.

Eligibility:
Low income youth 16 - 24 who are U.S. citizens, legal residents, or residents of a U.S. territory, and/or individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.
Service Hours:
M - F 7:45 am - 5 pm

The benefits provided to participants include campus housing, basic medical care, nutritious meals, books and supplies, a living allowance, training clothing, a supportive community, and childcare for participants with children.
