Provides subsidized housing options for low-income families and the elderly. Will only accept applications when the Section 8 waiting list is open. Public Housing (62 years and older) waiting list is always open. Provides a list of affordable or low-income rentals for Washington County in office. As of March 2026, the list is closed, and it isn't anticipated to open for another 2-3 years.

Eligibility:
Eligibility is based on federal guidelines of income and family size. Applicants will be subjected to a background check and must not have a history of drug-related, violent or sexual related offenses.
Service Hours:
M - Th 7 am - 5 pm; F 8 am - 12 noon
Intake Procedure:
Apply in person only while waiting list open, or call or email for application-only while waiting list is open.
