Description:

Provides scholarships that enable single mothers to receive the education and skills training they need to fulfill their educational goals, enter the workforce, and support their children. Scholarships can be used for 2-year degrees, 4-year degrees, and technical and vocational certifications as well as funding for college books and school fees associated with these programs.

Eligibility:
Single mother who has 50% or more physical custody of at least one child who is 18 or younger. Must be the only adult living in the house with children, or they live with parents or relatives. Parent has a high school diploma or GED and has not previously earned a bachelor's degree. Parent is attending or plans to attend a non-profit school or approved training program, has at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA, is unable to pay for schooling, and has completed the FAFSA application. Must be a legal resident of the United States or a resident with DACA status. First priority for scholarships will be given to those applicants enrolled in programs that have the greatest potential to increase their income in the shortest period of time.
