Summit County Children's Justice Center

Provides children with a safe and comfortable space when they are meeting with investigators and other team members about allegations of abuse. Assists with reporting of abuse and refferals for emergency service response.

Description:

Provides reporting and emergency response services for children during the investigation of suspected child abuse. Proffesionals are available for Forensic interviews during this process, as well as support services such as mental health therapy, medical care, and victim resources.

Eligibility:
Children who have suffered suspected abuse, and are going through a child abuse investigation.
Service Hours:
M - F 9 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Contact local law enforcement or the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) first.
