THRIVE Center for Survivors of Torture

Provides located and specialized resources to refugees and asylum seekers who have survived torture and severe war trauma. Provides general counseling services, victim rights groups, and case management.

Victim's Rights Groups
Description:

Advocates for policy changes on a local and state level to better support immigrants and refugees affected by torture or severe war trauma.

Eligibility:
Clients must be refugees or immigrants with a past experience of torture, war, or other form of violence.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call, walk-in, or receive referral from outside medical agency.
Fees:
No cost

General Counseling Services
Description:

Provides specialized mental health services to refugees, asylum seekers, and their families who have survived torture and severe war trauma.

Eligibility:
Clients must meet criteria for survivors of torture.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call, walk-in, or receive referral from outside medical agency.
Fees:
No cost.

Case/Care Management
Description:

Provides specialized case management to refugees and immigrants who are victims of torture or severe war trauma. Connects individuals to resources to get them to self-sufficiency and achieve social integration.

Eligibility:
Clients must be refugees or immigrants with a past experience of torture, war, or other form of violence.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm
