Provides a safe, supportive, and child-friendly environment where children who may have experienced abuse can receive coordinated care and services during the investigation process. The program helps reduce trauma for children and families by bringing together professionals to provide compassionate support and assistance.

Child Abuse Reporting/Emergency Response
Description:

Provides a crisis/emergency response staff and location for child of domestic abuse.

Eligibility:
Tooele County residents.
Service Hours:
M - F 9 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call, abuse must be reported to law enforcement.

Crime Victim Support
Description:

Coordinates a comprehensive child and family interview process by trained professionals including audio/video taped interviews screened for technical optimization, a child-friendly environment screening of cases for prosecution, counseling/treatment referrals, victim/witness support services, case progress tracking/monitoring, community/professional education on abuse issues, support/informational services for parents/guardians, and case staffing by a team of professionals.
