Services for children who are referred, assessed, and have been determined to meet eligibility requirements necessary to receive special education services. The process for applying may take anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months depending on the number of applicants that apply.

Eligibility:
Students must be age 3 - 5 years old, live in the school district boundaries, and be eligible through IDEA disability requirements.

Ashley Valley Education Center administers the independent study GED program. Program includes completion of high school for students needing 5 or fewer credits, GED prep courses for students needing more than 5 credits, English as a Second Language (ESL), and improved literacy and basic skills.
